PrP

What is PrP (Platelet Rich Plasma)?

PrP is very similar to stem cell therapy, but it is much more accessible and is performed with a simple blood draw rather than harvesting stem cells from your fat tissue or bone marrow.

When tissue damage occurs, the first cells to arrive are platelets, and they are full of growth factors. However, in some cases, the body does not fully heal.  So that’s where PrP comes in.  We draw someone’s blood, concentrate the platelets and suspend them in plasma (another great source of growth factors).  This injectable solution can then be deployed to the affected area.
